HEALTHYSTEPS: AN EXERCISE INTERVENTION STUDY for seniors age 65+ with difficulty walking
CHHM is seeking participants for an exercise intervention study for adults age 65 years and older who have a mobility limitation. In this study we will evaluate the effect of three different exercise programs on walking.
By participating you will receive FREE exercise classes twice a week for 12 weeks, led by a certified fitness instructor! Classes will be held from April – June 2013. We will assess each participant’s physical function before beginning their exercise program, immediately after their program ends, and three months later.

Hip fracture interview study
CHHM is inviting men and women over the age of 60 with a previous hip fracture and their family members/caregivers to take part in an interview discussion. The primary purpose of this study is to describe the early recovery phase after hip fracture and to evaluate a short video related to hip fracture recovery.
