The Walk for Lupus
This is your invitation to help put an end to lupus:
Date/ Time: Sunday, June 5th 10:00AM
Location: Stanley Park, Lumberman's Arch, Vancouver
For the first time, the Walk for Lupus is set to take place in Vancouver. Join us on Sunday, June 5th at 10:00AM. It promises to be a sunny day of fun in the beautiful surroundings of Stanley Park, all enjoyed in the knowledge that you are helping an extremely worthy cause.
If you have been thinking of signing up for the walk but don't know who to walk with, it's not too late to click here and join the team - The High Fliers. You'll be walking with members of Centre for Hip Health and Mobility (CHHM), the BC Lupus Society, Lupus Canada, UBC Division of Rheumatology, The Arthritis Research Centre and the Paediatric Division of Rheumatology, who are all joining forces in the walk to make a better life for people living with the debilitating disease.

Of course, if you're not free for the walk, you can always donate and look forward to a healthy tax receipt (if your donation exceeds $20). A secure tax-deductible donation can be made with your credit card and an electronic tax receipt will be sent directly to you by e-mail. To support The High Fliers team, just click here and choose to sponsor a team member by clicking their name at the bottom of the page.
Lupus is a chronic disease with a variety of symptoms caused by inflammation in one or more parts of the body. It affects tens of thousands of Canadians. At present, there is no known cure. Your support will bring us one step closer to finding one.
