Transform-Us! is a 2-year randomized controlled trial investigating the effectiveness of strategies to promote physical activity and reduce sedentary time at school and at home in 8-9 year old children. Her research will investigate the effects of sedentary behaviours (sitting and standing time) on children’s health. This work aligns well with her PhD research, which investigates the influence of physical activity and sedentary behaviour on bone microstructure and strength in children, adolescents and young adults.

The objectives of the Endeavour research fellowship are to: i) enable researchers to undertake comparative or collaborative research in Australia as part of their current postgraduate research program; ii) assist recipients build international professional links and institutional collaborations.
