Dr. Teresa Liu-Ambrose, CHHM Core Research Member, Tier II Canada Research Chair in Physical Activity, Mobility, and Cognitive Neuroscience
Brian Kwon, Teresa Liu-Ambrose, and Weihong Song have been named as Canada Research chairs for their respective work in spinal cord injury (SCI), exercise and cognitive decline in aging populations, and Alzheimer’s Disease. Canada Research Chairs are nominated by universities across the country and the awards are given to outstanding researchers who are recognized as world leaders in their fields, and includes five to seven years of renewable research funding.
