CHHM trainees Justin Lam and Carly Jones make a clean sweep at the VCHRI 1 Minute 1 Slide Presentation Contest

Congratulations to Justin Lam and Carly Jones who won VCHRI’s 1 Minute 1 Slide competition this morning at the Paetzold Multipurpose Room at VGH.

Carly’s presentation addressed the question “Do teenage hip slips need to be corrected?” and Justin’s presentation focused on his work comparing holes created using hardware drills, surgical drills, and hand drills in a surrogate bone model, specifically looking at drill hole quality.

There were two prizes up for grabs and our CHHM trainees took both prizes for a clean sweep.Thank you to Carly and Justin for representing CHHM so well and a special thanks to VCHRI for organizing this presentation contest.
