How 35 cents a day can change your life: lessons from the CityStudio
In CityStudio, City of Vancouver staff, students and the community collaborate on innovative, actionable projects, all for the betterment of urban life. As part of this initiative, CHHM core member Dr. Meghan Winters teaches an SFU Health Sciences course on health and the built environment. Winters’ students recently showcased their final projects—focused on youth engagement and the transit referendum—as part of the energetic CityStudio Hubbub at City Hall.
The calibre of projects was a high overall, however, below we showcase one particularly effective infographic. Creators Milos Borojevic and Kory Szostak explain: “we know people connect to stories, so we wanted to show the link between improved transit, and an overall better quality of life.”
We agree, their infographic both informs and engages. Well done!
