Two CHHM Core Members Receive 2012 MSFHR Research Scholar (Clinical) Awards

 

The Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR) has announced the recipients of its 2012 research scholar funding competition - a funding program that supports investigators to establish and build research programs, addressing critical health issues that are at the core of good health for British Columbians. In total, five Career Investigator Awards (Clinical) were awarded.

Congratulations to the following CHHM Core Members:

Dr. Christiane Hoppman
2012 Career Investigator Award, Scholar
Psycho-social predictors of physical activity in community-dwelling and vulnerable seniors: Linking daily life processes with long-term health outcomes.

Dr. Michael Hunt
2012 Career Investigator Award, Scholar
Biomechanically-informed non-evasive treatment for knee osteoarthritis.
