Current Research Projects

1. Assessing bone strength in the developing skeleton: Sex differences and the role of physical activity (The Healthy Bones Study).

2. School-based interventions to promote children's health: Evidence-based recommendations.

3. Is the bone health of HIV infected children and adolescents compromised?

4. Are children who sustain a distal radius fracture at increased risk of future fracture? A pilot study using high resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography.

5. An investigation into risk taking behavior, bone microstructure and fracture between the sexes: What underpins fracture in boys compared to girls during growth?
