Dr. McCormack of New Westminster, British Columbia specializes in athletic injuries and musculoskeletal trauma, is currently the Director of the Simon Fraser Orthopedic Research office and Head of the Division of Arthroscopy and Athletic Injuries at UBC Department of Orthopedics.

A sport enthusiast since his younger days as a middle distance runner for the Queens University Golden Gaels, he went on to coach the University of Western Ontario Track and Field team before heading west to settle in Vancouver's Lower Mainland with his wife and daughter. Dr. McCormack has been an integral part of the BC sport system for well over 15 years at the varsity, national team and professional level. He has been an essential part of numerous international, multi-sport events including the World University Games, Common Wealth Games, Pam American Games, Sydney and Athens Olympics and the 2006 and 2008 Olympic Games. It is easy to see that he is passionate about his chosen profession.

Ask any athlete, whether it's a university cross-country runner or a world ranked figure skater to describe the care they receive from Dr. McCormack and the answer is always the same: he clearly loves what he does, he is patient, committed to sport and always goes above and beyond in an effort to provide athletes with the best care possible.
