Exercise for Cognition and Everyday Living - Study Participants Needed
Study participants needed for the EXCEL study (Exercise for Cognition and Everyday Living).
Current evidence suggests that exercise may be a powerful tool against cognitive decline.
Researchers from the Centre for Hip Health & Mobility on VGH campus and UBC are currently seeking participants for a 6 month exercise study that aims to determine the powerful effect of exercise on cognitive health and the ability to do everyday tasks. To be eligible for this study, individuals must be:
- Women aged 70 to 80 years old
- Experiencing some difficulties with memory in the last 12 months
As a participant, you will be provided with free exercises classes at the Centre for Hip Health & Mobility, Vancouver General Hospital, for 6 months and we will assess your cognitive and physical function.
